How cheap is cheap?
And "reasonable sound quality" is relative. For ultra cheap products (which I don't use, so don't really know them) I would stick with solid brands like Audio Technica and Rode who both make decent low and mid budget products.
You might also consider an audio recorder as well...
Just remember that the skill with which you use it is just as - if not more - important than the piece of gear itself.
