Channel KDK12

Hi--

I'm the co-founder of www.channel-kdk12.com, a horror film website devoted to promoting horror films as a legitimate art form. Our primary projects are a horror film wiki, and a blog.

Right now, about 25-30% of the movies in our wiki are indie horror (shorts and features), and we're launching an indie showcase in January.

We're looking for filmmakers who would be interested in being part of the showcase. That means having your movie added to our wiki, doing an interview for the site, and we blog about the film, too. The film can be finished or still in production (in which case, no wiki entry, but we still enjoy doing interviews and talking about the work!). You'd be welcome to use the materials we produce on your own site or in a press kit, as long as we are credited.

You can see an example of one of our interviews, about a movie that is still in production: The Mourning Portrait, with director Paul Schattel. We have about 5 additional interviews that will debut in January. But we're looking for many more--we'd like to keep the showcase going all year.

If you're interested in getting your horror film promoted on KDK12, please send me an email at indie@kdk12.warpmail.net and we'll get acquainted.

Thanks for your time,

Dar

I had to look up KDK12 in order to get the reference, but I like the look :)

What you're doing is really good. I think it's great that there are sites like this which exist in order to catelogue indie work. My site is too centered on mainstream film for my liking, but that's just the limits of my technical ability.

Anyhow I thought the site was really good and although I'm not a horror filmmaker it seems to be a great cause.
