Canon xh a1 battery--canon or 3rd party?

I am looking at getting another 1 or 2 batteries for my xh a1.

What is anyone's experience with the less expensive 3rd party batteries?

You might be able to find a used battery at bhphotovideo.com

I got a used battery for my camera there and its just fine.

I got an offbrand battery for my canon at www.ebatts.com and have had great success with it for 3 years now...it's a 5 hour battery and is my primary battery.

I give them 2 thumbs right up the nose...they're that cool ;)
