Canon XA10 bought in the US.

I'm considering to buy the Canon XA-10 during my holidays in the US.

As I live in europe and as it is regionlocked at 24 fps I wonder if anyone knows what type of problems I may run into during filmmaking in europe. On the other hand the european version is regionlocked at 25 fps.

Can I without to much trouble convert the files, do my postwork in finalcut and make a dvd out of my material in europe?
