Camera Conundrum (which camera for me)

Me and my partner are shooting a documentary. We have used the hvx and the Ex 3 for the project so far and we loved both experiences. We are about to reach a point where renting is no longer saving money. We are looking for what you guys would recommend. We are shooting in 24p btw.
