The NYC Filmmaker’s Festival was created in order to help all filmmakers, just like you, to become the best you can be. Unfortunately, we feel that many festivals have taken a wrong turn in this regard. Because of that, fees are often too high, and the rewards too low.
At the NYC Filmmakers Festival we have a completely different philosophy…
We strongly believe that festivals should be a useful outlet for filmmakers. We also feel that festivals should create a unique environment so that all of you have an opportunity to actually advance your career, and to become more successful artists.
That's why we not only give out prizes to the winning filmmakers, but we also have “giveaways” and scholarships for things that you can use in order to benefit your filmmaking endeavors…
And along with what we are already doing, we ‘re also open to ideas about other ways that we can improve our festival, so we can further assist you, the filmmaker…
Plus, we’re always looking for creative, original, compelling and passionate film and video works from all areas of the cinematic storytelling.
