CALL FOR INDEPENDENT FILMS
The Education Channel in Tampa, Florida is currently soliciting films, videos, animations and digital media from independent artists, producers and students for inclusion in its 2003 Independent’s Film Festival.
All genres of film completed between March 2000 and April 2003 are welcome. Work must be submitted for review on 1/2” VHS (NTSC) in English or with English subtitles by April 30, 2003. Notification of acceptance into the on-air screening will begin the second week of May via email. The Education Channel will televise the Independents’ Film Festival beginning on July 4, 2003 with presentations throughout the month culminating in a public event on September 19th of the “best of” the festival screening at the beautiful and historic Tampa Theatre.
Entries are assessed by guest judges in the professional, and student categories. Entry forms must accompany submissions and are available in a pdf format on The Education Channel website at www.educationchannel.org.
