JULY 1 Entry Deadline
The Columbus International Film & Video Festival, a.k.a. "The Chris Awards," one of the most prestigious documentary, educational, business and informational competitions in the U.S., the oldest of its kind in North America and celebrating its 53rd year.
* Honors documentary, entertainment, educational, industrial; corporate, independent and television productions
* Nearly 100 categories within 16 subject-area Divisions, for video, film and Interactive Media, plus special competitions for Students, Screenwriters, and Print Media.
* Formats accepted: DVD (preferred), 1/2" VHS, CD-Rom, URL.
* Fees: based on length, starting at $80 for 15:00 and under; Student fees $35-$50.
* Eligibility: Productions completed in 2002, 2003, 2004, and 2005 are eligible.
* The 2005 Festival Screenings will be held at The Columbus College of Art in early November in Columbus, Ohio.
* Entries must be in English, dubbed or subtitled in English.
Entry deadline July 1 with entries accepted starting April 1, 2005.
