Call for Entires Frederick Film Festival 2004 DEADLINE 7/15

The Frederick Festival of Film is now accepting entries for 2004. The Call for Entries runs from Feb. 16th to July 15th. Our early submission fee is $15 with a cut off date of July 1st. We have a late submission fee of $25 from July 2nd to July 15th. No entries will be accepted after July 15th. The Festival accepts entries from amateur and professional filmmakers. All genres of film will be considered, though the festival does not jury by genre or guarantee your film will screen with others of the same genre. The Festival of Film jurors –an independent panel of experienced film and television professionals—will make their selections on the basis of creativity, originality, technical expertise and style. Films are categorized by length; the two categories are Short (under 45 minutes) and Feature Length (45–120+ minutes). Presentation formats include 16 mm, Beta Sp, Mini DV, DVD, and SVHS. All films must be submitted to the Festival Jury Panel in VHS tape format with the following label information: Film Name, Name of Applicant, Production Company Name, Length of Film. The VHS entry tape will be returned only if you provide return shipping materials and postage (see our rules and guidelines section for the complete terms and conditions).

Accepted, wait list and declined applicants will be notified of the jury’s decision by August 15th, 2004. By submission of a signed application for entry into the Frederick Festival of Film, you are agreeing to our full terms and conditions as posted on our website. The exhibition print of your film is due to us by Wednesday, September 1.

The Frederick Festival of Film committee is committed to presenting the finest artists in Independent Film. It is our hope to continue to assemble a body of work that reflects the highest quality and design.
