My director on Surviving Family (I wrote & produced) put together this behind the scenes featurette about how she shot one of our favorite scenes.

If you've been watching the indie film world news over the past couple of weeks, you may recognize the teen aged girl: her name is Katherine C. Hughes, and she's the "hot girl" in the just-released Sundance hit Me and Earl and the Dying Girl.

Thanks trueindie! We hope to have another bts from Detours in 4-6 weeks. We want to use the final version (good sound, color corrected) for the clips, which is what's holding it up.

And of course if you guys watch Surviving Family (iTunes and Amazon streaming), I'll be happy to answer questions :)

any idea if/when it will be available on Amazon streaming in the UK?

At the moment, Distribber only offers Amazon streaming in the US, but I'll ask them if they have any plans to expand to Amazon in the UK.

It IS available on iTunes in the UK, and streams anywhere in the world on CineVolt

Also - if anyone is ambitious enough to watch the movie on CineVolt AND either Amazon or iTunes, and tells me what scene is in CineVolt but not the others, I'll send you a Surviving Family hat :)
