Broken/semi destroyed cameras

Hi all,

A slightly unusual request - I am looking for people with cameras that have been broken or made unusable through damage for spares use - Ideally with the LCD screen/viewfinder intact.

Interested in any make/model but ideally Sony HDV, PAL.

maaan, I still have my old Quazar from 1984.
My wife can't get me to part with it. I try to explain the things that thing has seen...

Hey Ben, I dont know what you do with them but if you happen across a 5d or 7d you are done with I need the shell in any condition. I dont need a single part of it to work just need the shell or body for test fitting custom made accesories. Let me know if you can help me and I will let you know what I can find for you
 
Yeah I could also use a shell for a "camera drop" scene. Any make or model, although smaller is better as its cheaper to ship.
 
Well, you've found a market for BUYERS of these, but you're looking for "sellers" by the looks of it :)


Part of being an indie flimmaker-there is no such as "trash" ;)

I'll keep my eyes out for you-if I find anything, I'll let you know....after I've scoured it for what I need :D ;)

Pretty much everyone here is going to think of some use for broken camera parts.

Chiming in - I'm personally interested in 16/S16 gear in any sort of disrepair (because I can't afford the working stuff), which similarly, I'm not going to find very easily!

:lol:


Is your LCD broken? You might have better luck finding a panel from tech folks and installing it in the housing. With a little luck and the internet, you can probably search for the model number of the actual LCD.

Or is the housing broken? :D
