My name is Kelvin Guy and I'm about to launch a film festival here in Wales!
The Carmarthen Bay Film Festival will be held in the home town of Wales' very first Hollywood star Gareth Hughes!
This festival will be the first new one in Wales to be a open and ethical festival by adopting a code of conduct!
The code of conduct has been devised by film maker Tyrone D Murphy

Rule No 1: Absolute transparency in the selection process
Rule No 2: Names of the Jury and the selection Committee
Rule No 3: Clear contact details such as address and telephone numbers
Rule No 4: Company registration number or charity registration number
Rule No 5: Number of films submitted every year
Rule No 6: A full history of all the winners and official selection
Rule No 7: Names of the person or individual who viewed the submitted film screeners
Rule No 8: Provide comments of viewed film screeners
Rule No 9 : Festival organisers must declare any interest in any film submitted or in competition
I feel that for far too long film makers have been riped off by so called scam festivals. So from the start my festival will be different.by being a festival that film makers can trust.
