I have been making films for only about a year now and I seem to have hit a wall. There's just something missing in my films that I would like to address, but have no idea how to do so!

-Lighting
I have recently realized that being a one-man band isn't going to produce great results, so I am focusing on one role - Director of Photography. It would be helpful to get some suggestions on the best, most trusted books that relate to the topics I've mentioned above and/or the role of director of photography. Thanks guys.
