I just pre-ordered a new book coming out at the end of this month on Vegas Pro 8, includes a DVD (not sure what will be on that), the author is the same guy (Douglas Spotting Eagle) at VAAST training that sells the video tutorials. Looks to be good. Just passing on the info for any other Vegas Pro 8 users looking for a reference, number of books on vegas 8 not exactly high.
