Bolex amateur question

Greetings...

I bought an 8mm camera on ebay. That was an exhilarating experience. Then a friend told me that 8mm film stock isn't made anymore, or is about to be gonzo.

True or False? Kodak seems to think so, are they the only producers of it?

Then, I bought a 16mm camera... http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7527314415&ssPageName=ADME:B:EOAB:CA:6[/url] ...with just as little foresight and less excusably. Then, true to the Law Of Reversed Sequential Thought, I did the research and started wondering....

Can I upgrade the lens mount to a swivel base, as seen on other cameras? Is it possible to get a viewfinder for it? And what sort of buy was it?

Thanks to any and all taking the time to read and/or respond to this,
Michael

8mm film and processing can still be found at Chambless of Georgia.

Here's an 8mm resource sheet.

Working Bolex for $91? Good deal.

You can do just about anything, if you have a machine shop and some money,
but I think adding a lens turret to your single-lens Bolex would be prohibitively
expensive.

It would be easier to find a zoom (variable focal-length) c-mount lens with a
reflex finder on eBay. That would give you a full range of focal lengths, and be
easier to "change lenses." I'd buy this one, and sell off the extra Bolex.
