best plugins for mac /premiere pro cs3/ for "film look"

been contemplating gettin the newblue film effects plugin

any advice? anything better?



i use 13" macbook pro, adobe premiere cs3, and shoot on canon 7D

3-way color corrector, levels, curves... all free in final cut. You can vignette using shapes as luma mattes with a second blurry layer on the top. You can do color specific grading by using multiple 3ways in line. Most of the stuff you can do in other plugins can be achieved directly in the editor...

However, more of the film look comes from during production, outside the camera.
