Just fell over a little award acceptance speech that harmony korine has recorded when he won the top prize at some European documentary film festival last week for 'trash humpers'. it's really one of funniest award speeches I've heard for some time, and in my opinion it's actually a little miracle of a new korine docu fiction film itself...i didn't know that trash humpers has actually won an award - I hadn't seen that coming (though I LOVE the flick).

bizarre thing, by the way, that trash humpers won an award for 'best documentary'! but pretty cool in some way, too. documentary and fiction are two words that somehow make no sense in the world of harmony korine...
