I am writing a screenplay about two characters who take a long, isolating journey together. It is reminiscent of Before Sunrise. How can I keep the journey interesting when there is minimal plot and conflict?
Why is there minimal conflict? There's lots of room for differences of opinion between 2 people traveling together, regardless of whether or not they're a romantic couple.
And yeah, I made a feature about a father & daughter traveling together - things happen, they argue, they make up, more things happen
It's called Detours and you can check it out for free on Tubi (and lots of other streamers).
