archived-videos Battle Hymn: A music video shot on T2i with VisionColor and Osiris

That whole video was beautiful. I watched it without the sound so I could pay attention to the cinematography.

What lenses did you use?

I wasn't a huge fan of the reflector either, but she really liked it so we left some shots in there.
I used a 28-135 that is the kit lens for a 7D. Glad you enjoyed it :)

well looks like i have to play bad guy again :(

this was a boring video, it essentially was her singing, or doing nothing.

but that wasnt the issue, the issue here is that your camerawork was boring, you had the whole freaking mountain!! yet you kept the camera so still vultures were probably circling it... (exageration)

theres no emotion in your shots, the wide mid shots of her were awful the quality was really lacking in the image, too much front shots we needed more side shots, maybe of her walking across the river or something like that, you had ample opportunity to make the best of it.

also the singer didnt really look like she was comfortable, it was like she was holding in a laugh coz she felt stupid, the vocals didnt match with her attitude.

overall i kept thinking its the same thing over and over and over again, if i was watching as an audience i would have turned off just before halfway because the video doesnt add anything to the song.

nice scenery though, you can thank god for that location ;)

(im not mean to start arguements im mean so that you can do better than this !!!)
