Hello everyone from the UK
I have recently purchased a Panasonic Lumix G7 which I have been having fun with and have a Zoom H2n audio recorder in the post.
I am going to be filming a series on growing your own food which will include lots of science, anthropology etc and I am new to filmmaking (but very eager to learn!).
I have several questions:
1. How can I improve the lighting when filming when I do not have access to electricity on site (as to say, are there any battery powered lighting devices out there)?
2. With regards to catching audio, I came across the video below where the guy seems to be speaking into a mic which is just below his mouth resting on his head. I have a collar microphone but sometimes when I am working whilst filming getting stuck it it does get caught. So does anyone know what this microphone is?

Thank you for your time,
Samuel
