Anyone know anything about York Uni in Toronto?

I want to go to school, because I network a lot better that way and I need to be organized to get shit done.
Anywho, I've heard York alumini are known to be involved a lot with the toronto film festival and the such...what does that even mean?

Anyone got any info on York to share? Or any schools competing with York?
