Any film festivals with feature-budget restrictions

So we're in the process of editing two low budget features we shot this year.

We'll be submitting them to festivals for the 2014 season.

Does anyone know any festivals that have a feature film category were budget is restricted so our sub $5k features are not competing against million dollar plus features?

I know Sundance has one such category but it's USA-only produced features, and we're in Canada. :(

NEXT (8 U.S. Narrative Feature Films):
Films selected for this category stretch a low budget to create big art. < = > (less than equals greater than) is our speak for the creativity that limited resources can inspire. Although these films share a Festival category, there is nothing categorical about them. By nature, they embody the spirit of indie filmmaking.

Many of the big american festivals like sundance, sxsw, tribeca, slamdance, etc. pride themselves on finding up-and-coming filmmakers that show a lot of talent. If your film is good they will want to screen it because they want to be the ones to discover you.

If the low budget is affecting your production value a little bit your film probably wont be in one of the competition categories though. If your low budget is greatly restricting your production quality you're better off skipping the big festivals altogether. Go for lower tier festivals where pretty much all the films look like low budget productions.

Also a quick note: If you're going for the 2014 festival circuit you've already missed most of the Spring festival deadlines and the festivals I listed above all fall under that category. There are still some great festivals later in the year, but if you're still editing the film it might even be necessary to shoot for 2015.
