2003 Angelus Awards International Student Film Festival
Entries are now being accepted for the eighth annual Angelus Awards, an international competition honoring university-level student films of uncommon artistic caliber that explore the complexity of the human condition with creativity, compassion and respect. Cash prizes include the $10,000 Excellence in Filmmaking Award, one of the highest cash awards for student filmmakers, the $2800 Fuji Film Audience Impact Award and the $5000 Priddy Bros. Productions Triumph Award. Other categories include outstanding documentary, production design and animation. All genres will be accepted but eligible films must not be longer than 90 minutes and must have been completed between June 2001 and July 2003 while the filmmaker was an undergraduate or graduate student at an accredited film school or university. Entry fee is $25 and the deadline is July 1, 2003.
