Analyzing Lighting

I just want to start off by saying that I'm a complete lighting noob. I have been reading a lot about lighting lately and I was wondering if you guys would mind commenting on a few different lighting setups. I am going to give my noob analysis (guesses) on how these were set up. These were all taken from commercials.

The lighting here looks very flat, or plain. The walls look to be a tan or off-white color. I have read that the two most common color temperatures are 3400k for Tungsten 5500k for daylight, sometimes 6500k. However, this seems almost in the middle of the two. Perhaps a 5500k with some gels?

It looks like there is daylight to the left of the image coming through a window as a key light. The window on the right suggests the sun is on the other side, or it might be noon. Other than the supposed sunlight to the left, most of the light seems to be directly behind the talent. The fill light looks to be directly behind the talent, to the right of the camera.

I'm totally confused with this lighting. The deep shadows on the couches suggest fairly controlled lighting without much spill which looks to be coming from the top of the staircase. I would say this is in the 3400k range with some gels filtering the light from the window. I would guess they are also blasting the window with a light which is the key light. I don't think there are any lights to the left and I would say there is a small fill on the right.

This is obviously the same room, yet lit entirely differently. It looks like they put some sort of white gel over the window and are blasting it with light, obviously key, which is causing the room to be very bright. The brick walls look to be light gray rather than dark gray, and the rug looks like the highlights have blown out. Again, I don't think there are any lights to the left of the camera and that there is a fill on the right side. I have no idea what the light temperature would be, but I would guess on the blue end (6500k?).

This final setup looks to have very light tan walls. I would guess 5500k temperature with the key light on the left side of the camera and fill on the right side. I'm a bit confused by the shadow directly underneath the couch. The shadow makes it look like there is lighting coming directly above the couch. There is likely a backlight behind the counter, bouncing off a wall.

So that is my poor understanding of light. I have no idea how much the grading process changes how much you can tell about temperatures and how much they have changed colors in post. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!
