I didn't want to hijack the logo thread, but I've run into a small AE problem. Basically I'm using the 'advanced lightning' effect. It all works great while I'm editing the comp, but once rendered the lightning bolts do not extend down as far as they were supposed to.
I'll show you what I mean. The first lightning bolt is at around 1-2 seconds. The second lightning bolt is at just before/at the 5 second mark (I could give you the exact frames, but that doesn't help with youtube navigation

Here is what they should look like:
I've made sure that the lightning layers are 'on top' of the hill and sign and stuff. They are also definitely in front of the other objects on the z-axis.
Any ideas what's going on here? Is this a glitch or am I doing something wrong?
