watch Action sequence shot on RED in NORWAY

We wanted to shoot an action sequence, so we did.
The film was shot on our RED camera with various nikon lenses.
There was no money put into this project, but it turned out looking pretty frickin awesome!
The grade was done on a LUSTRE and the online on a FLAME.

That looked great man. Well photographed, nice camera work (although I'd like to see a little more tripod work, but that's always what I say), and the scene was nicely executed.

Pretty impressive. I love the RED when it's handled properly.

Where are you guys located?
 
Something about Red, Lustre, and Flame all in one post, with a mention of 'no money' sounds a bit ironic to me..

But anyhoo.. :welcome: and nice work on the video. :)

I like the fact that you're actually using the RED to do something. I've seen a lot of RED stuff, and its mostly sunsets and dogs walking on a beach.

Ya, there's is a lot of random shot tests. But there is a lot of 'real' film work on it as well. In our little New England neck of the woods there have been two features shot on RED in the past year. You can also find a ton of examples on http://www.red.com/shot_on_red/

Not to hijack the thread, but here are the two features shot in my area last year (I'm friends with both filmmakers, and I was a supporting actor in one of them):

Once the price of RED drops, or other alternatives come out, we'll be seeing a ton more low budget films with these production values.

Great job guys! I'm soo jealous for your equipment, but I refuse to have buyer's remorse about my cannon, the RED is still way out of my price range.
