screenplay A handful of queries sent out...

now I wait.
I sent them to film companies listed as accepting unsolicited screenplays. But I have only sent queries with loglines in most cases.
One was sent a synopsis, as they requested.

I tried to look for the sleaziest companies first, based on the sleaziness of their films.

One thing I suspect about film-company websites is that they may not be updated for several years, and don't seem to be very tech savvy.

I will wait another week for a response then move on.
