cinematography 3m traveling shot

Hi guys, I need a little bit of advice here.

I'm a film student from Venezuela and I'm shooting my second short film in about two weeks and have a shot which involves a traveling of about 3m (approx 10 feet), and I'm not sure what the best way to go about it would be.

I have basically no funds (unless my indiegogo campaign suddenly becomes funded, which is unlikely to happen)

Any ideas?

PD: the camera that will be used is a Canon t3i
