Our second filmmaker interview of 2020 is with the award-winning Estonian director Madli Laane who's engrossing coming-of-age drama THREE AUGUST DAYS was featured at last year's Edinburgh Short Film Festival.
The film follows a young Estonian girl living in Tallinn during the fall of the Soviet Union in 1991 and her relationship with a Russian boy, set amid the grinding realities of life in a country in crisis.
