Through July 1st, student filmmakers (college-level) can compete for a $10,000 Grand prize, among other cash and industry prizes in the 10th annual Angelus Awards Student Film Festival.
The Angelus Awards honors films, documentaries and animation that explore the complexity of the human condition with creativity, compassion and respect.
Other awards include $5,000 Priddy Brothers “Triumph of the Human Spirit”, the $2,500 Fuji Film Audience Impact, $2,500 Mole-Richardson Production Design, $1,500 Best Animation and $1,500 Best Documentary, among others.
Some of the previous winners include Patricia Cardoso (REAL WOMEN HAVE CURVES), Tony Bui (THREE SEASONS) and Greg Marcks, who directed Hilary Swank in 11:14)
This year's winners will screened October 22 at the Directors Guild in Hollywood.
Early bird entry fee; $25 by June 1st.
