But of course, each DP naturally cling to some style.

In my opinion, good DP shouldn’t have specific style, because DP has to be able to adapt to any story and see whats best for each story. Sometimes it is pure realism, sometimes it is hyper stylization.

Thank you about the dreamy look, I am really trying to explore more that ascetics in my work in cinematography projects.

I know reel lacks some specific theme. Main thing I wanted to achieve was feeling of melancholia, wandering and felling of walking & moving.

Thank you very much. I understood what he said and I appreciate it but showreel has some it’s own “rules”. Of course it is better to be most homogeneous as it can be, but thos time this was the best I could do.

But that is not the point of showreel, point is that you can see diversity of shorts and by that you can see my capabilities.

Yes, this reel is made from 6 different short movies. But most of them are shot on Arri Alexa, and just one on Sony FS5.

Yes that is true I have to agree on that. But, unfortunately I didn’t have that much footage to make one homogeneous piece.
