I'm interested in DIrecting although I do write the stuff I make. I'm kind of a one man show but I get help from my friends with some stuff. I do like critiquing film a lot too though. Or at least analyze it for it's merits and all that jazz. ( I also act on what I make and that sucks )

I suggest watching the opening sequence to Wristcutters: A love story. A lot of what you're trying to evoke in this short is similar in that opening part of that movie. It is kind of drab, but I can find a lot of value in the emotion that went into making it but there's a lot more you can do...

Broken Flowers 9/10 I really love Jim Jarmusch's films so this might just be me being biased but it's a really wonderful and accessible film especially with his drawn-out style of filmmaking. The music is wonderful and the performances (as it is with most Jarmsuch films) are extremely memorable...

I'm trying to finish writing the second draft of my short film that's been in development for a couple years now, but I'm feeling pretty confident in how it's going to turn out.
