When I press record on my A7, the shogun screen goes blank and I cannot record on it. I could swear that I was recording on both the shogun and a7 when I first got it but may have messed up a setting or am in a specific mode that doesn't support it. Anyone know what setting causes this issue?

I read florescents do not make good video lighting and the LED lights are a cheap alternative. I am not sure if it applies to tube lights and/or if a professional video lighting system would product much better results. Maybe I can use both?

The drone thing may work as long as there are no papers in the background. Kind of needed to get closer to the floor but maybe I can do that part by hand somehow. Would it be easy to merge the last 4" or so of footage going all the way to the floor with the footage from the drone without it...

Does anyone know if a camera crane would allow me to move a camera from near the roof straight down to near the floor. I need it to go straight down. If a camera crane will not work, does anyone know an option to do this as stable as possible? I am not sure if doing it by hand would be stable...
