Not sure if fairly common, but it happens...Tried to make contact with few people who I know done it, but not yet received a response.....were I live the filmmaking community is smaller, so it's probably more possible to organsie than say London, America etc...

Hello I'm looking to organise a 'read through' of my script for ta feature. Plan is too invite Producers and possible investors to attend with hope off attracting interest. Has anyone any experience of organising anything similar? If so, any tips?

many thanks for the replies and advice.....films 11mins, called 'Case 210', but start of intveriew scene Police Inspector says 'Case 210' when talking into the recorder....so think il keep title til the end...thanks again

Just a wording...hard to explain, but film begins with quick scene, then it goes to a police interview scene, which stretches bulk of the film...think it works better with Film title at end...

Putting a title sequence in, doesn't look right, for the film at beginning...question is, does title sequence have to be included in start, or around the start

Hello I'm editing my Short Film, and I don't thing there is anywhere suitable for the Title of the film to be inserted, except at closing credits....Is this acceptable, or will it be of putting for festivals?

If you have a scene were a character gets angry...Do you have to describe this i.e. John breathing gets heavier, he grips the top of the chair......Or would the nature of the character and scene, be able to indicate to the reader that they are angry, without describing it?

Hi. When I want to write emotion in film i.e. 'Mary cries', or 'John is frustrated'....Is it too on the nose to write how their feeling? Is it best to find a way of describing their emotion

just had first reccy meeting....DoP showed me clips of his last short which opening scene was shot in a car (outside shots too)...looked great, so were scrapping my original idea of just shooting from dashboard....shooting this Suday, will post the final edit up

we have sound covered....meeting Thursday night for a reccy meeting, so hopefully we'll bring it all together before sunday
