I would love to do a Documentary piece, however many who I speak to frown upon the idea of using a DSLR in this area.

Excellent point! I might just use the DSLR for experimental shorts (another area I am interested in) and leave the documentary stuff for a while. I still have a lot to learn :)

I cannot argue with a single point there, all cameras have there uses, there pros and cons etc. Maybe i should look into a more appropriate area. Who knows ��

separate audio recording is the only option I guess... No idea how I am going to do it as a 'one man crew' I like the look of this... and it's a good price...
