Bruner makes some good points, the competition is so not now that it's not worth going Canon unless you have a decent budget. Some great new bits of kit coming out at far more reasonable price points.

Get in touch with local nightclub promoters, not the clubs, but the promoters who rent the clubs out for their nights. If you get in with the right people you can suddenly find yourself with multiple orders a week (as I did) and make a little business out of it on the side which you pay people...
