What is the best way to go about selling a script? Should I just mail it to producers?

I submitted a few scripts to Amazon Studios. They claim they automatically enter you into contests and could possibly produce your script if it is chosen. The only downside is they make you promise not to sell the script to anyone else for 18 months. I've gotten a few reviews from their users...
