It looks like they did not specifically request the material from you. I would have sent a query letter first. If they asked for a script by name, I would send it.
If they can prove I lied on any question, that might destroy any chance I had in court in case of copyright dispute.
this production company does not talk about video, film etc. I was just saying that as an example of the low budget tv productions, like Outer Limits, that were made in the 1960's.
you can see the URL etc I posted in another response.
is this information specific enough for you?
I have included the specifics below. They appear to have the most extensive security questionnaire of any company I have seen. I am representing myself now. Are you saying that if a production company were reputable they would refuse my script unless I had an agent...
I get a sleazy feeling reading some of the tv production company announcements.
But since my work is sleazy, it might be the right place for me.
30 minute horror stories, shot in video, cheap plots.
Like Outer Limits from the 1960's
I suspect some scam script calls on LA craigslist are...
now I wait.
I sent them to film companies listed as accepting unsolicited screenplays. But I have only sent queries with loglines in most cases.
One was sent a synopsis, as they requested.
I tried to look for the sleaziest companies first, based on the sleaziness of their films.
One thing I...
I heard that elmore leonard was mad at burt reynolds for the latter's direction of the Leonard story, Stick.
Leonard thought Reynolds put a beat after every dialogue line, and that this ruined the story.
How do beats work? Can they put in or taken out by the scriptwriter?
Orson Welles used...
These three production companies are accepting scripts or queries.
I would like to know if anyone has any knowledge or experience with any of them and if they would be recommendable.

Would anyone have any thoughts on negotiating payment when a filmmaker likes a script?
Some points I have seen discussed include the following:
- how to negotiate the best initial compensation. Is a lump sum paid?
- What are the terms and pitfalls of an option?
- how much to charge per...
"So, I'm not sure what I'm asking for, here."
you might want to specify a bit more.
sounds kind of like monty python.
sorry I am not in your geographical area. looks like it would be fun.
I have read that the titles of producer and maybe exec prod are now almost meaningless
Am I wrong here?
if not, it would change the answer to the question, wouldn't it?
Is there one person mainly who has to approve the expenditure of funds?
a producer, accountant...
If a cameraman or set designer needs a new piece of equipment that must be purchased...
would they have to go to that person and ask permission?
would they have to go up a chain of command? If so...
if movies suck it is for a reason.
bad writing is one of the main culprits. when characters are dialoguing and saying obvious or uninteresting things the audience turns off
the second reason is bad pacing, which is the director's fault
attach the camera to a tripod and turn the tripod upside down hanging from a cord.
my tripod has a ring underneath the junction area perhaps for this purpose
adjustments may be possible in post
many cameras now have one or more internal stabilizers.
using moving camera depends on the purpose...
why not just cheat? nobody knows what goes on inside.
then film the exterior scenes somewhere else.
the door to the house for the exterior scenes will not be the door of the house the interior scenes are filmed in.
