For all the composited effects I used stock from 'Action Essentials 2' which is great but is still a little limiting as the explosions and debris aren't perfectly suited to really big bangs. Still - it's a great collection and let me keep my vfx stock budget under $100.

Thanks wheatgrinder... I think you're right, the planes should probably be faster too. I'll call it 'artistic licence' for now ;) Looking forward to others comments...
