oh man... just got back from screening SIDEKICK at the Calgary and Idaho Int'l Film Fests! wow, what an experiece that was - being flown from festival to festival, being put up in fancy hotels, crashing cool parties and, best of all, getting the chance to see my movie projected on big screens...

we looked at the pdx10 but found it didn't have the range we were looking for and that it was too light for our purposes - ie. it was incompatible with our steadicam. we ended up renting the Sony DSR-570WS. it's a much bigger, heavier, pro-sumer camera that shoots in a beautiful 16x9.
