    been a while

Thanks everyone. Mom is hanging in there. I take her in for chemo again Thursday. They have jacked her up with so much of it that she's had trouble eating a full meal at all. Gun Town 2 isn't going to happen. Long story, and mainly the funding. I'd love to do a sequel to The Truck, but...

    been a while

Hello all. I have been beyond busy. Work at FT day job, weekends at the diving school to get ready for opening season and tending to my mother. She's suffering from Stage 4 lung cancer, not looking good at all. I haven't chatted here much lately and am trying to get back in here to see what's...

The Truck - a road horror film.

Thanks guys. We released the film in November. It has received a decent response and dvd's are actually selling, slowly but surely. We did a couple of film festivals and have a few more lined up this year. DVD's are 10.00 on Amazon.com and come with special features: commentary track with...

Hurt Locker Producers Will Sue 24,500 People for Torrent Downloads

a dvd has nothing to do with a plate of food. you can't bootleg a plate of food or download it, lol. bottom line, I don't think I should go "sue crazy" because I feel it will just piss everyone off and make them NOT want to support my films, there has to be a way of getting support from fans of...

Hurt Locker Producers Will Sue 24,500 People for Torrent Downloads

I know this is an old thread, but I wanted to put my thoughts in. My second film just came out on DVD. I plan to also have it on Amazon for download. We're only charging 10.0 for a professionally made DVD. It has a 2-side 1 page insert and the dvd has the film, film with commentary, interviews...

Hello everyone. It has been some time since I've posted here. I hope everyone is well. Things have been super busy for me with work, etc. I also recently became a certified diver, so classes took up a lot of time. Anyway, I thought I would stop in and show you guys our teaser trailer. If you're...

    Directors: What are your goals?

Goal as a director: 1. Get the shots you want, it's your responsibility. 2. Finish the film. 3. Be fair but firm.

    The death of DSLR?

Pretty cool indeed. However, if what this poster says is true, you may want to take it into consideration. "I can guess at how they've done it, they've used there usual home stereo build quality for equipment sold as pro gear. Reports are that the case might be a satisfying metal, but the...

How many shorts before a feature?

In my opinion, it doesn't matter how many shorts you should do before tackling a feature. I worked in front of and behind the camera for a few years to get hands on experience. Then I scrounged up 8K and made a feature right off the bat. There's nothing easy about making a movie, you just...

That is very cool! I'm producing a documentary right now about a friend who did an album in '79. We're almost done filming. You should do a documentary on yours man!

    A Waste Of The Budget

"But, on topic, the director of this music video (against his better judgement; the singer of the band somehow convinced him) spent, nay, pissed away tens of thousands of dollars on a scene that didn't even get used." wow, just wow.You can take tens of thousands and make a movie. "picky about...

    What's next? Big plans?

well, i'm still trying to get Evade funded, but it looks like I am about to give up filming as a whole. Too hard to get money, (thank you economy) and I'm not going to just scrounge up a few thousand bucks and see what I can do. Didn't mean to be negative here, just realistic.

    Gun Town receives...Press???

    "Evade"

Hate to bother anyone, but here's a bump as a reminder. I plan to donate this time toward Tricia's college fund. She plays my daughter in the film and is like a daughter to me in real life. Please take a second look if you have time. Thank you. http://igg.me/p/34758?a=62655&i=shlk...
