Who are all of those people on this move set?

hi i was not able to see the clip but i assume they would be either crew or "jafo's" (just another f####ing observer). the size of the crew is dependent on the budget and amount of work to do. everyone on the crew has a job to do but they dont do it all at the same time. makeup usually start...

How long is reasonable for actors to memorize their lines?

this is why it is important that you lock in the shooting schedule before starting so that everyone knows what scene is being shot when. also the call sheet should have the scenes being shot on the next day so that the actors and everyone else on set can be prepared. there is no point in the...

What are the issues with using real weapons on set?

yes i live in a country where it is very hard to own a gun. i also live in a country with a noticeable lack of school shootings by disgruntled teenagers. well a real gun on set certainly does not make it any safer. when it comes to safety i prefer to err on the side of caution.

What are the issues with using real weapons on set?

i think you are being pedantic with your formulae. the subject was guns on set and i think you know my views on that. on the subject of safety on set generally i would rise my concerns with the 1st ad if i was not satisfied with his/her response i would approach the producer and discuss the...

    Film-set tragedies

attitudes like that are why people die on fllm sets. when you take precautions to be safe then you are not putting your life at risk, if you have done it properly. if even one person had gone up to the 1st ad and raised some concerns that accident may have had a different outcome. my working...
