1) Should I buy Panasonic G7 or Panasonic GX8 for short film/documentary (and travel use when not producing short films)?
I'd like to hear the views of first hand experience users especially.
2) How much does it cost in your country (in Europe) and special promotions in shops-not online only...
oops . . . I must be ready for these consequences if something goes wrong. Thank you for showing the darkside of it I needed to be reminded again and again
And like in the Murphy's law 'If anything can go wrong it will'.
Very true. I needed to be reminded I guess
Well said. I should be extra careful what to say, with the reason
I have never thought of the failure of my HDD. I have the video clips backed up in another hdd, and the files the editing suite creates are the most important bit not to get damaged...
Thank you Sweetie.
I shouldn't sound negative too and raise red flags when I don't mean too.
The ones I mentioned are important, I should mentioned them with a positive spin.
Any suggestions to soften them please?
PS1. I am a newbie I am afraid. Believe you me.
PS2. I don't have any editors...
I am a newbie short film director/producer and the pre-production stage is almost done.
I need to get an editor to do the post production (editing the raw footage, providing the film output file as well as 1 trailer)
I've seen long and complicated contract samples on the net.
Thank you for your very informative suggestions I appreciate very much.
I now know more about the Canon.
- I'll start searching for the disadvantages of Canon EOS M3 vs others as well as:
- Comparative info for Panasonic G7 suggestion I have had within my budget
Thank you for your valuable suggestions.
I have a budget of $749.00 max. (with the kit lens - or less amount without the kit lens)
I was suggested I should get canon 700 series depending on my budget
I have read so many reviews and watched so many comparison video reviews and I'm confused.
Thank you GuerillaAngel,
I think I have enjoyed more of closed captioned movies than just a subtitled ones without a sound cue.
And I believe it may add value so I'll add the sound cues where important. therefore thank you again that you think like I do.
I need some sort of guide or tips/links for entering background sound type of entries in subtitling:
[would I be using like [eerie music], [whispering] etc for the background music or sounds?
What's the common practice please?
Thank you Guys,
you have been very helpful. I don't know how to thank you enough. You are all great.
directorik: if you weren't prompt me, I would never see the brand. You have good eyes
rayw: Excellent visuals and the importance of sound
brunerww: That's a very good starting point to...
