    misc MasterClass Online Classes

I couldn't help but notice a number of directors, actors, and writers advertised for it. If you watch much YouTube, you've probably seen these ads too. Any thoughts about this product? Has anyone bought/taken/watched one? If so, do you have a review or opinion on it? Was it worth the money...

movie-talk What are you watching rn?

I love Joe's show! Yeah sometimes he or his guests get goofy. Often times, though, they are interesting, informative, and thoughtful. Lol. IDK. That reminds me of this channel's fascinating but disturbing videos:

I like it, especially that extreme close-up of the eye. Interesting colors and lighting too, agreed. Impressive start.

watch Conjuror - Horror Short Film (Feedback Wanted!)

Nicely done. I was especially impressed (and pleasantly surprised, really) with the how well the shot of the dad in the shadows of the basement turned out. It worked well and simply. The climax was effective too.

series What series are you watching?

Oh I totally believe it, and thank you for the insight. But I still enthusiastically recommend it on the strength of its charm. I mean the family and friends drama of the show is what won me over, as well as its outstanding production quality. :)

That is really great! Why put it off? Life is short, and who knows what tomorrow will bring? Good for you two getting right to it and getting it done. LOL, well, it looked like that house was very disordered, and I was imagining that it was yours or someone's. So I was thinking, OMG, you guys...

I've been enjoying The Amazing Mrs. Maisel a lot. Like, a lot. I'm on Season Two now. Not flawless, but gosh, it's still been soooo good for the most part. Gets a strong recommend from me based on what I've seen so far.

That reminds me I recently watched the documentary The Lost City of Cecil B. Demille. It's on Amazon Prime. Check it out, if you haven't. You're bound to appreciate it. It's a pretty decent showbiz and filmmaking documentary.

    off-topic CovidTalk

The thing is China is not likely to shut down or regulate its wet markets —the origin of this catastrophe; people have to eat. Nor is the PRC likely to fail to cover up new outbreaks or to disseminate false information about them. Therefore, this is likely to happen again and again indefinitely...

Star Trek: Into Darkness. Brilliant. Don't understand the hate for it. I think it's very swell. Secrets of the Shining Knight. Very fine and informative. (Netflix) Contagion. Not too bad. I rate it so-so. The Russian Revolution: This is nice. Though I'd like a longer documentary going into...
