    Hi, I have a sony hdr xr100 camcorder with 30mm threading size.. Would using a 30mm to 52mm coupler ring on it allow me to use prime lenses such as canon 50mm? I'm sorry but im kinda clueless about threading n filter size so kindly guide me.. Thanks

    thanks cracker... and i actually do have a big payoff moment...atleast i think i do :) but its also important to make the story till that point interesting as well..and in completely other direction.. unlike shyamalan who just seems to be too hungup on that "reveal" i shall try :)

    Thanks for the quick response.. Personally I havent worked with RED so far..so do you think 16mm would be good to shoot for INT or do you think RED can match it provided DoP does his work well? cz RED would bring the cost down which is awsome :)
