hey escher dude how i customize the aspect ratio to 2.4:1 is preset? I checked AVCHD 50i and then customize it but i dont get any options for ratio... I'll keep an eye out for interlacing..usually i just drag a clip to sequence it automatically makes a timeline with appropriate settings..

If you have gotten hold of CS 5.5, start using it and never look back. It makes FCP look like a little girl sitting with a pair of scissors making collage..lol trust me its awsome.. Adobe ftw

Many thanks guys... Currently editing.. Dialogues couldnt be recorded as the house had no power so we had to use a generator..after preparing the rough will have to do ADR which is going to be my first time doing it as well.. :)

and yea action essentials 2 can work for ya...just remember to combine many subtle elements that most newbies that use it dont..and create multiple layers in 3d..even though the elements are few it can look very different if used well..

try using trapcode particular if you can mate...it can be used to create some real insane effects on its own.. videocopilot uses it in lots of its tutorials.. also check out redgiantpeople.com for some of the presets at work.. i dont know if its ethical to post this here but I learnt AE and...

Any body has any idea or experience selling their movie on youtube.com/movies and how much do they pay for it? Their collection seems pretty awful so i guess that's good news for indie filmmakers here who actually make decent stuff that whats on youtube..

Cheers Escher.. So I can natively work with camera files in CS5.5 with interpret footage (I checked and it works) and can I output the final file in 25p or 24p without sound sync issues?

I'm using the trial version of neoscene to transcode avchd 1080i footage (mainly to deinterlace before editing; I have cs5.5 so i can edit natively as well) but a 50mb avchd file became 870mb in high setting and 180mb in medium..is that normal?? Would you mind sharing some setting tips for it...
