    Explain your idea to a writer. If its good and they want to use your idea then you will be credited for the story. It is common in movies to see: "story by:" then "written by:".

    story Can't Think of Story Ideas

    One of the best pieces of advice I have read on coming up with ideas is to think of a one sentence description of a film and add irony to it. ie: A cop finds himself having to help a thief he's trying to catch. Simple descriptions can open up a range of ideas.

    How do I do rewrites?

    Okay so I'm almost finished my first feature script. It is a commercial Irish teen comedy. I know however that it will require at least one major rewrite but I don't know how to approach it. Is it best to just edit the finished draft or open a new file and start from scratch? Any and all advice...
