I like too many directors... favorite films include A Clockwork Orange, The Life of David Gale, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Spirited Away (Hayao Miazaki, not the horse movie!) And I also love Run Lola Run... I can't think of any others at the moment

You know I had the same opinion all throughout the past 2 years on the films, that is until now. Obviously, scenes will be cut out. But I don't understand the point of making these movies if they were going to cut out the scouring of the shire, because that chapter was the whole reason Tolkien...

Actually now that I think about it I find that using hand-held can not only make people feel sick, but it looks kind of un professional. I would use a tripod whenever possibal.
