I have rewritten this scene: what do you think?

Okay. I did go back and check out my paragraphs but I thought that the long speeches from Keith were necessary to show how paranoid he is. Ill take another look but I think I may like it as it is. I have been reading them in a few different styles to see how I want the character to sound and speak

    Has anyone noticed??

I can afford it, but I have been trying to save money for new equipment. I think that I will wait a little while before making the switch. My job pays badly and I get low hours so every bit of money I can save is worth it. I really do appreciate the forums, that was never a question. I have...

    Has anyone noticed??

Yeah I haven't necessarily noticed on the "who's online" section but I have noticed just from answers on the site and posts to threads. It makes me feel a little left out. Should I make the switch?

This is a really interesting thread. Too bad I don't have any good stories cause I would love to contribute pics or stories to this!

I have rewritten this scene: what do you think?

I updated it and the original link should take you to a version that I personally think flows better and makes more sense. I took a few hours away from the dialogue and came back and refined it. I will probably do it again tomorrow to make it more natural sounding but I want your opinion first

I have rewritten this scene: what do you think?

Wow so I just realized that I screwed up and selected the wrong name from the character list... Joey got selected in the ending few lines when it should have been Keith. Sorry if that is confusing

I have rewritten this scene: what do you think?

Okay I see what you are saying about the dialogue breaks and how it is a long stretch of just talking but I had been given advice that says that typically actors will fill in movements and things by themselves and whenever I have acted, on screen or in theatre, I personally dislike being told...

I have rewritten this scene: what do you think?

I looked up some online scripts and got some information and tips from websites and took your advice to heart and I rewrote my script (I changed the way the scene works and it's not the first or last scene of the short so any confusing or missing info will be there by the end of the short)...

    Script Review

okay thanks. I have no previous experience writing scripts based off of a story that I have written and this is the first time I have written one completely alone. I will definitely take this information to heart. Thanks

story What suggestions do you have for writing a script based off of a story?

So basically if I am using the script for myself only, it's not that big of a deal how it's written and if I want to use caps for my own use in post, then its fine. If I made a prod. script, I would definitely drop the caps because I realize that not everyone is as inattentive as I am. I would...

story What suggestions do you have for writing a script based off of a story?

Well I made a script recently (here: https://docs.google.com/viewer?a=v&pid=explorer&chrome=true&srcid=0B8sNGyb3K_qxMWY5M2ZmOTctOWMyYS00ZDQ0LTgwNTYtZDY3YzA2N2U5NzZm&hl=en_US ) that has a lot of capitals in it but it is mainly for me to remember where and what types of effects are needed without...

story What suggestions do you have for writing a script based off of a story?

I didn't put my question in bold to get more attention. I put it in bold because I thought that I was rambling and that having it stand out at the end would make it easier for anyone who was already interested in answering would have a better understanding of what I was asking. If I did annoy...

    I wrote a book instead.

It is a lie... it doesn't get that many because it doesn't exist. There is a CHANCE that it WILL be GETTING that many in the FUTURE but to say that it gets it and advertise that when there isn't even a twitter base to send to isn't being truthful

What made you want to make films?

I have always loved watching movies and I have been writing stories for as long as I can remember. I also have been really inspired by other movies that I have seen recently including inception. Something about seeing that movie made me really want to make movies
