Thanks a lot for all of your help guys. I haven't buy anything yet but i might follow your advices and buy a desktop, since i'll not travel much in the coming times and i can work from home when needed. I think i'll buy a laptop later.

I shoot with a Canon 70D, so i'll edit full hd H.264 mov videos

sfoster i'm not very familiar with that software and i certainly did not know it was free! Sweetie because i'll also need to take it with me sometimes because i travel a lot around the country, i'll need something portable. I know i can get much better from a desktop but it's not ideal for me.
